Vehicle Safety InspectionsCalifornia State Law (34505.5 CVC) requires that all commercial vehicles operating in Intrastate commerce be inspected every 90-days. Furthermore, Federal Regulations (49 CFR Part 396.17) require commercial vehicles operating in Interstate commerce get inspected at least once annually by a certified vehicle safety inspector.
This is not an option, it's the law!
